This video describes the different scenarios of Reagent interchangeability between cobas® 6800/8800 and cobas® 5800 system.
While the systems use the same reagent cassettes & controls, once they are loaded on a cobas® 5800 System they will no longer be accepted for loading on cobas® 6800/8800 Systems. The same logic applies vice versa.
